Like the NBA and the NFL in America, Germany has sports leagues for soccer as well. The main league is called Bundesliga. It consists of 18 teams broken up into two divisions, 1.Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga. The teams at the top level are considered the best.

Football in Germany is so popular, the Bundesliga soccer league leads the entire world in attendance for soccer matches, and is second only to the NFL in the United States in average attendance in all sports worldwide.
